Loraine Leeson

Loraine Leeson is a UK visual artist known for 40 years of socially engaged work with communities. ‘Active Energy’ exploring tidal energy on the River Thames with older people recently received RegenSW’s Arts and Green Energy award while another current project is addressing issues of water in the Rajasthan desert. Loraine runs an MA in Art and Social Practice at Middlesex University and is author of ‘Art:Process:Change – inside a socially situated practice’.
